Rini Noronha of IIT Madras 19 -year -old student has completed Ironman Hamburg European Championship in 14 hours. She has completed it last year too. With this, Rini 2 has become the youngest Indian woman to complete the Ironman race.

Rini ranked 15th

Rini completed swimming in 1 hour 30 minutes. For a cycling of 180 km, he took 7 hours and completed the marathon in 5 hours 16 minutes. She finished 15th in the age group of 18 to 24 years.

Rini completed the race in 14 hours this year. He took 16 hours to complete the race last year.

Rini says, ‘There is nothing easy about Ironman. You just have to keep moving forward. After the swim and bike ride, you also have to complete the marathon. When I started it in Hamburg, I knew that I would definitely reach the finish line. I took out the tricolor flag before the finish line. I am proud to represent India. ‘

Discipline and Time Management Success Mantra

Rini Noronha tells about her success, ‘Discipline, structure and time management are very important. I plan my whole day very carefully. I do training before or after lectures. I do the part of training on weekends that takes longer. I try to be ahead of the rest in the course so that management is easy.

She wants to start an NGO later where women of India are encouraged for sports. She says, ‘I want to make girls feel that she can work for her dreams. Real growth begins when you decide to move forward.
