- Ca January 2026 Exam Calendar Released All Exams to Be Conducted In Single Shift

The Institute of Banking Personal Silence i.e. ICAI has released the datesheet of CA Exams to be held in January 2026. Candidates who are going to join the exam can check the entire datesheet on the official website icai.org.
There will be no exam on 14 January
The notice issued has explored that no examination will be conducted on 14 January due to Makar Sankranti, Bihu and Pongal festivals. Apart from this, if a public holiday is declared on any day, then the date of the exam will not be changed. All exams will be held in single shifts only.
Registration will start from November 3
Registration for ICAI CA January Exams will start from 3 January 2026. The last date for registration is fixed on 16 November. Candidates will be able to file applications by November 19 with late fees. The application link will be live on icai.org.
What is CA exam
ICAI conducts CA exams every year, which can clear 3 steps and become chartered accountants in India. These are 3 levels-
1. CA Foundation (Entry Level Exam) Eligibility: 12th pass mode: offline (pen-paper based)
2. CA Intermediate (Second Level Exam) Eligibility: Foundation Exam Pass or Direct Entry (Graduate with 55% marks in commerce or 60% marks in other streams).
3. CA Final (Last Level Exam) Eligibility: Intermediate level pass + 2.5 year practical training.
All levels are cleared and provides CA degrees after 3 years of training.
