1. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav flagged 7 trains
On September 29, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav flagged off 7 new trains from Bihar. It includes three Amrit Bharat trains and four passenger service trains.
The Railway Ministry has said that these three Amrit Bharat Express trains will run between Muzaffarpur to Charalapalli, Darbhanga to Madar Junction and Chhapra to Anand Vihar Terminal.
- The inauguration ceremony was held at Patna Junction, where Vaishnav joined the program through video conferencing.
- 12 Amrit Bharat trains run across the country, out of which 10 run from Bihar. Now it will increase to 13 in Bihar.
2. India won the Asia Cup cricket for 9th time
28 On September, India has won the Asia Cup cricket title for the 9th time. Team India won the title by defeating Pakistan in the final.
Indian players celebrated the victory in the Asia Cup without a trophy.

3. Former Chinese Agriculture Minister sentenced to death in corruption case
On September 28, former Chinese Agriculture Tang Razzian was sentenced to death in a corruption case on Sunday. Tang took more than 317.3 crore cash and assets as bribes from 2007 to 2024 as a bribe.
The court said in its judgment that Tang has been denied his political rights.
- The court said that all the property of Tang will be confiscated and the money deposited from the bribe would be collected and deposited in the national treasury.
4. Sonu Nigam to Lata Mangeshkar honor
On September 28, the famous playback singer Sonu Nigam was awarded the National Lata Mangeshkar Award.
MP CM Dr. Mohan Yadav gave this honor at a ceremony held in Lata Mangeshkar Auditorium.

Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has included 10,976 new posts in Second Inter Level Recruitment 2025. Now a total of 23,175 posts will be appointed under this recruitment.
Earlier, 12,199 posts were removed under this recruitment, which has now been increased to 23,175. Applications can be made online at online portal onlinebssc.com. The last date for depositing the fees has been fixed on 25 November 2025.
Candidates who had applied for this exam earlier do not need to apply again. Earlier, the application process for this recruitment took place in November 2023.
