Haryana to start the door-to-door survey to collect data of every resident

To issue a smart IDs for every house in Haryana, the state government of Haryana has decided to collect the detailed data of every resident. This collected data is useful for benefits in 150 services of 87 departments through online. During the survey, the address of each house, location, details of owner of the house, bank account numbers, IFSC code and Aadhaar and personal information will be collected.

Indians stood at the 6th biggest private spenders on health

In 2014 Indians were the sixth biggest out-of-pocket health spenders in the low-middle income group of 50 nations, according to an India Spend analysis of two recent studies by The Lancet, a British medical journal. Indians spent 27.4 percentage points more than median-country citizens did (38.2%), the analysis showed. India has ranked 147 among 184 countries on this parameter.
