1. ‘Maratha Military Landscape’ included in UNESCO World Heritage Site
On July 11, UNESCO included ‘Maratha Military Landscape’ i.e. ‘Maratha military landscape’ in the list of the World Heritage Site.
‘Maratha Military Landscape’ was included in the list of the World Heritage Site at the UNESCO 47th meeting in Paris.
- 12 forts of Maratha period have been included in it, including 11 forts in Maharashtra.

- All forts were built between the 17th and 19th centuries.

2. DRDO and Indian Air Force successfully tested ‘Astra’ missile
On July 11, Defense Research and Development Organization ie DRDO and Indian Air Force successfully tested the ‘Astra’ missile.
The ‘Astra’ missile was tested with Sukhoi-30 MK-I aircraft near Odisha coast.
- It is an indigenous beaond visual range Air-to-air missile (BVRAM).
- This missile used indigenous radio frequency (RF) Sikar.
- Two missiles were launched during the test.
- The firepower of ‘weapon’ is more than 100 kilometers.

1. Admitted to 2,500 posts of Agniveer Vayu in Indian Air Force
The application process for recruitment of 2,500 posts of Agniveer Vayu started in Indian Airforce. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website agnipathvayu.cdac.in. The exam date for this recruitment has been fixed on 25 September 2025.
The tenure of Agniveer Vayu is 4 years. According to the Seva Nidhi Scheme in this recruitment, about 10.08 lakhs will be available. This recruitment will be for unmarried women and men.
Educational qualification:
- Intermediate (12th) Mathematics in Mathematics, Physics and English with 50% numbers
- Or minimum of engineering in mechanical / electrical / electronics / automobile / computer science / instrumentation technology / IT with minimum 50% marks

2. Recruitment of 18,650 primary teachers in Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board has issued a notification for MP TET Class 3 Exam 2025 for the recruitment of 18,650 primary teachers. The application process for this recruitment is starting from 18 July. Under this recruitment, 10,150 posts of School Education Department and 8,500 posts for Tribal Affairs Department will be filled.
The possible date of exam has been fixed on 31 August. After the application starts, the candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website eSb.mp.gov.in.
Educational qualification:
- 2 -year D.El.Ed degree with 50% marks in 12th
- Or 2 -year D.El.ed degree with 45% marks in 12th
- Or 4 -year B.EL.ED degree with 50% marks in 12th
- Or 2 -year D.El.ed degree with graduation
- Or B.ED degree with 50% marks in graduation
- SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PWD of MP will be given 5% discount.

1. 6 thousand annual allowance to go to school in UP
The UP government will now give 6 thousand rupees annual allowance to children to go to school daily. Children who do not have a government school within the radius of 5 km of the house will be eligible to get these devasies.
These schemes have been launched for children from class 9 to 12. With the help of this scheme, the state government will work on its goal to increase the attendance of children in schools.
The flagship scheme will begin for Sonbhadra and 6 districts of Bundelkhand. In these areas, the children reaching the school are a major problem.
Students of Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Banda and Sonbhadra are eligible to get 6 thousand annual travel allowances under the scheme.
2. UPSC issued admit card of Combined Medical Service Exam 2025
Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC has issued the admit card of Combined Medical Service Exam 2025. Candidates can download hall tickets from UPSC official website upsc.gov.in.
Combined Medical Service Exam 2025 will be held on 20 July across India. Candidates will have to download their e-admit card and take a printout of it. Also, it has to be ensured that all the details like name, photograph, and QR code on their e-admit card are correct.
If there is an error in the e-admit card, it will have to be informed by emailing it on usCMS-upsc@nic.in immediately, so that a decision can be taken in this matter.
