39.45% voting in DU Students Union Election, results today: Aryan Man-Josulin competed in the post of President; ABVP 6, NSUI won twice in 10 years


The results of the Delhi University Students Union Election i.e. DUSU Election will come on Friday. Voting was held yesterday for the post of President, Vice President, Secretary and Joint Secretary. According to data till 12 pm, a total of 39.45% turnout was done. Voting data from seven-eight colleges is yet to come. However, this time there has been more voting than last year’s 35.2%. Chief Election Officer Raj Kishore Sharma said that voting was done smoothly in most colleges. The RSS Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Congress-backed National Students Union of India (NSUI) and Students Federation of India-All India Students Union (AISA) for four posts. The main contest for the post of President is between ABVP’s Aryan Mann and NSUI’s Josalin Nandita Chaudhary. In the last decade, ABVP has won six times in the election for the post of President, while NSUI has won the post twice.
