1. Nobel to 3 American scientists for Physics
Physics’s Nobel Prize was announced in Sweden today. This year Physics’s Nobel 3 American scientists John Clarke, Mitchell Deavorat and John Martinis.

The award has been received on a large scale quantum tunling and energy levels in electrical circuits.
- The winner will get 11 million Swedish Krona (Rs 10.3 crore), gold medal and certificate.
- If more than one scientist wins, then this prize money is divided between them.
- The awards will be given in Stockholm on 10 December.
2. French PM resigns in 27 days
French PM Sebastian Lecornu resigned from the post in just 27 days.

Lecornu took over on 9 September.
- He resigned from the post on 6 October.
- President Macron has accepted his resignation.
- PM Lecornu announced the new cabinet on Sunday, but after 12 hours he resigned and surprised everyone.
- Lacornu was the fourth PM of the country in 13 months.
- Former Prime Minister François Bayaru resigned in September due to lack of confidence vote.
3. By -election in 8 assembly seats of 7 states
The Election Commission has announced a by -election in 8 assembly seats in 7 states on Monday. These seats will be voted on November 11 and the results will come on 14 November.

- By-elections are to be held in Jammu and Kashmir in Budgam and Nagarota, Anta in Rajasthan, Ghatsila (ST) in Jharkhand, Jubilee Hills in Telangana, Tarn Taran in Punjab, Dampa in Mizoram and Nuapada assembly seats in Odisha.
4. UK PM stormers will visit India
Britain’s PM Kir Stmper will visit India on a two -day visit. This journey will be on October 8 and 9.

The stormer will be included in the Global Fintech Fest.
- The tour is taking place a few months after India and Britain signed the Cast Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
- During the visit, the stormer and Modi will take part in the 6th session of the Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai on 9 October and will give a speech in the stormer program.

1. Children carrying gravel-video viral in government schools
A video is going viral on social media. In this video, children are seen working in school uniforms. The video is from the Government Primary School in Banjarawala, Dehradun. In which 8 small children are seen carrying gravel on the head.
The District Education Officer (Basic) has ordered an inquiry on the matter and suspended the headmaster Anju Meinaduli. Action has been taken on Anju under violation of the Right to Education Act-2009 and Section 13 of the Department of Women Empowerment and Child Development. The Education Officer has ordered an inquiry into the entire case.
Last week, a video of Gothinda village in Tharali block in Chamoli district also went viral. In this, a teacher is washing his car with children. Outside the school, children are seen washing the car with a water pipe in the school uniform.
