The Border Security Force i.e. BSF has recruited the posts of Constable Tradesmen. For this, the detailed notification has been released on the official website rectt.bsf.gov.in. Applications for these recruitment have started today from July 25. Candidates who are eligible and interested for this recruitment immediately check the complete information and enter the application online.
Vacancy Details:
- Male – 3406 posts
- Women – 182 posts
- Total – 3588 posts
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have passed 10th.
- The related trade should have an ITI certificate.
Other Physical Recovery:
For male candidates –

Reserve candidates will also be given exemption as per the rules.
Edge Limit:
- Candidates of unreserved category should be between 18 and 25 years of age.
- OBC candidates will get 3 years discount at maximum age.
- SC/ST candidates will get 5 years discount at maximum age.
Silence Process:
There are 4 phases of selection process –
1. Physical Test
- Male candidates will have to complete the 5 km race in 24 minutes. Women candidates will have to complete the 1.6 km race in 8.30 minutes.
- Physical test will be only of qualifying nature.
2. Written Examination
- Candidates will have to undergo objective type examination of 100 questions. The exam will be in online i.e. CBT mode. A total of 2 hours will be available for this.
3. Documents Verification
- Candidates will have to appear physically for all their original documents verification.
4. Trade Test
- There will be a test related to the trade for which you apply. For example, a trade test will be organized for Taylor, Washarman, Scipper.
Fees:
General/OBC/EWS: Rs 100
SC/ST/Women: Nisulak
Salary:
Selected candidates will get salary from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month.
