Maharashtra State Examination Council has issued a notification for Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test. The application process for this exam has started from today.
The admit card of Maha Tet 2025 will be released on 10 November at Mahatet.in and mscepune.in. The examination will be held on 23 November.
Educational qualification:
- Paper 1: 12th pass, D.Ed or B.Ed degree
- Paper 2: 12th pass or graduation degree, D.Ed or B.Ed.
- Paper – 1 and 2: D.Ed or B.Ed degree, 12th pass or graduation

Exam schedule:
- Paper 1 (for classes 1 to 5) will be from 10:30 am to 1 pm.
- Paper 2 (for classes 6 to 8) will be from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
Fees:
- Paper – 1 or Paper – For 2: 700 rupees
- For both papers: 900 rupees

Ban on these:
The notification states that the candidates caught in the mess in Maha TET 2018 and 2019 have been banned permanently. His candidature has been canceled. The notification warns that if such banned candidates apply for Maha TET 2025 by giving false information, strict legal action will be taken against them.
Importance of this exam:
Passing Maharashtra TET is necessary for teacher recruitment in all management and board aided, non-aasted and permanent non-aasted schools.
