BSF (Border Security Force) has recruited the posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic). The process of application for this recruitment is starting today.
Candidates can apply by visiting the official website rect.bsf.gov.in. The notification of this recruitment has been published in the employment news of 16 – 22 August.
Educational qualification:
Head Constable (Radio Operator):
- 12th pass with 60% marks (subject: Physics, Chemistry, Maths)
- Or 2 -year ITI degree with 10th (subject: Radio, Television, Electronics, COPA, General Electronics, Data Entry Operator)
Head Constable (Radio Mechanic):
- 12th pass with 60% marks (subject: Physics, Chemistry, Maths)
- Or 2 -year ITI degree with 10th (subject: Radio, Television, General Electronics, COPA, Electrician, Fitter, IT & ESM, data entry operator, equipment maintenance, computer hardware, mechanics)
Edge Limit:
- UR: 18 – 25 years
- OBC: 18 – 28 years
- SC, ST: 18 – 30 years
Salary:
- 25,500 – 81,100 rupees per month
- Other allowances will also get the benefit.
Selection Process:
- Physical standard test
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Computer based test
- Document verification
- Dictation Test and Paragraph Reading Test
- Medical exam
Fees:
- UR, OBC, EWS: Rs 100 + 59 rupees CSC charge
- SC, ST, Women, Departmental, X Serviceman: Free (Applied CSC Charge)
