India will host AI Impact Summit in February 2026.
Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnav gave this information in Parliament.
- The summit will be organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) and the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT).
- This summit will be held in New Delhi.
- It aims to promote the global impact, moral use and its development in India.
- This summit will strengthen India’s self -sufficient India and Digital India Mission.
- India’s AI market, which was $ 12 billion in 2023, is expected to reach $ 60 billion by 2030.
2. 1856 MW Savalkot project started on Chenab River
The Government of India issued tenders for the 1,856 MW Savalkot hydroelectric project on the Chenab River.
The Savalkot Hydroelectric Project will form the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC).
- These projects will be started in Ramban and Udhampur districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
- The project proposed in 1984 was stopped due to Pakistan’s objections.
- Now India has started work on it by putting the Indus Water Treaty in cold storage.
- This project will generate about 7,995 million units of electricity every year, which will reduce power shortage in North India and promote industries.
- These projects will be completed by NHPC in 113 months.

1. Admit Card released for NEET PG 2025
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences i.e. NBEMS has issued the admit card for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) Postgraduate (PG) 2025. Candidates can download the hall ticket by visiting the official website nbe.edu.in.
After completing MBBS, it is necessary to pass the NEET PG exam for admission in MD, MS and PG diploma courses in medical colleges.
This exam will be held on 3 August 2025 from 9 am to 12:30 pm in the same shift. For this, examination centers have been set up in 233 cities across the country.
The NEET PG exam will be computer based and 200 multiple choice questions will be asked.
2. SSC increased the vacancy of MTS and Havildar Exam 2025
Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC has issued the admit card for the Engineering Service Mains Examination. Successful Candidates in Prelims Examination can download the hall ticket by visiting the official website of the Commission upsc.gov.in.
For this, you have to enter your registration number and date of birth. The UPSC IES Mains exam will be held on 10 August.
