CCRAS Company Profile:
The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy), Government of India. It is an apex body in India for the formulation, co-ordination, development and promotion of research on scientific lines in Ayurveda and Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine. The site contains details about Ayurveda and Sowa-Rigpa systems. The activities, job opportunities and achievements of the council in different aspects of these streams of traditional medicines are available here. The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), an apex body for the formulation, coordination and development of research in Ayurveda on scientific lines was established in March 1978 after the reorganization of Central Council for Research Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy. The Minister of Health & Family Welfare is the President of the Governing Body of the Council, while the Joint Secretary chairs the Standing Finance Committee. The Scientific/Research Programmes are supervised by the Scientific Advisory Board.
CCRAS Research Officer Test Pattern:
CCRAS Research Officer Exam Pattern is also available here. The written examination for Research Officer post will consist of questions from 3 sections, which are Concerned Subject Knowledge, Research Methodology, General Knowledge & Reasoning, Information Technology and Computing. An exam would be conducted for 70 marks. Each topic in the Research Officer Exam will cover questions from different subjects.
