Many candidates have made distance from medical examination. Many such cases are coming before the Commission, where the concerned candidates did not appear before the Medical Board for medical examination even on the due date. These include those candidates who are currently in government jobs. Now they are putting applications for category improvement.
Nervous by medical examination, request to make category changes
The most shocking thing is that some candidates who distance away from medical examination have given an application to the Commission requesting the Divyang to convert their category from Divyang to normal or other category.
The investigation of the Commission has also revealed that many of these candidates are already working in third class teachers, patwari, or other posts in state services. The previous government appointments of all these have also been done from the Divyang category quota.
Such candidates were misusing the reservation not only once, but again and again with the help of fake disabled certificates. The Commission has also written a letter to the administrative departments of such candidates and wrote regarding a re -examination of their disability.

Commission officials said-will be screwed, action will be taken
Commission Chairman Utkal Ranjan Sahu said that this action of the Divyang certificate investigation will give a fair recruitment process of the Commission, as well as due to fake certificates, the people sitting in government service will also be tightened by getting unfair benefits in Divyang and other categories. Commission Secretary Ramnivas Mehta said- Use of fake certificates violates the rights and opportunities of real and eligible disabled candidates. The Commission is no longer limited to the superficial investigation of documents, but is ensuring fair selection through intensive verification.
Action will be taken against the candidates who do not appear for medical examination, following the instructions of the Commission. This action can not only cancel their RAS recruitment-2023 candidature, but can also deprive them of other government recruitments.
Interview for eighth phase
- The 8th phase interviews for the posts of RAS-2023 started from Monday. The interviews will run till 18 September. Explain that the first phase of interview by Rajasthan Public Service Commission was started from April 21. The advertisement for this recruitment was released on 28 June 2023. Asked applications from 1 July to 31 July 2023 for the first 905 posts (State Services 424 and Subordinate Services 481). Later, the post was increased to 972 (state services 491 and subordinate services 481).
6 lakh 96 thousand 969 candidates applied
- 6 lakh 96 thousand 969 candidates applied for RAS-2023 recruitment. The preliminary examination for them was conducted on 1 October 2023 from 11 am to 2 pm.
- A total of 4 lakh 57 thousand 927 candidates appeared in the examination. The result of RAS (Preliminary) Examination-2023 was released on 20 October 2023 after the objections tested.
- The main examination for 19355 candidates who succeeded in the result of preliminary examination was conducted on 20 and 21 July 2024. Its result was released on 2 January 2025.
- In this, 2168 candidates were declared temporarily successful for interview. Result shield covers of 2 candidates were kept in it. The result of 20 was canceled. Hold 3 for administrative reasons.
Both RAS-2023 and RAS-2024 are in the process process.
Waiting for the results of RAS Mans-2024
- RAS-2024 recruitment 733 posts were taken out by Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC).
- The number of posts was increased to 1096 on 17 February 2025. It has 428 posts of state service and 668 posts of subordinate service.
- The RAS Pre 2024 exam took place on 2 February. Out of 3 lakh 75 thousand 657 candidates, 21 thousand 539 passed in it.
- The main examination was held on 17 and 18 June 2025. The examination was held at a total of 77 centers in Ajmer and Jaipur.
- On the first day of the examination, 84.44% in General Studies (Paper-1) and 83.78% in General Studies (Paper-2) were present.
- Now the result is awaited.
