1. Women’s Cricket ODI World Cup starts
Women’s Cricket ODI World Cup started from 30 September. India is hosting it.
The first match started at 3 pm today at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.
- The first match of the tournament is between hosts India and Sri Lanka.
- Its final match will be held on 2 November
- Apart from India, the Women’s World Cup 2025 includes Australia, England, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Bangladesh.
2. Former MP Vijay Kumar Malhotra dies
On September 30, senior BJP leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra died at the age of 93.
Vijay Kumar Malhotra was the first state president of Delhi in 1980.
- Malhotra was a 5 -time MP from Delhi and a twice MLA.
- In 1999, former PM Manmohan Singh was also defeated.
- He was also presented as the Chief Minister’s face in the 2008 election.
3. America announced 100% tariff on foreign films
On September 29, the US also announced a 100% tariff on foreign films. President Trump gave this information on his social media platform Truth social.
He said that the American film industry has been ‘stolen’ by foreign companies.
- Trump said- 100% tariffs will be imposed on all films made outside America.
- On which part will this tariff be imposed and how it is not cleaned yet.
4. China’s Hujiang Grand Canyon Bridge begins
Thejiang Grand Canyon Bridge started on 28 September in China.
The rugged southern province is built over a river and a huge valley in Southern Province Guizhou.
- It is the world’s highest 625 meters above the world.
- There is also a 565 -meter Biparjiang Bridge, which has now become the second highest bridge in the world.
- Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge will make contact easier between many hilly areas of China.

1. MPESB launched applications for Police Department
Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has recruited 7500 posts in Police Department. The application for this recruitment is going on from September 15. The last date was 30 September which has been extended till 6 October.
Candidates can apply by visiting the official website eSb.mp.gov.in. The application will be given a chance till October 4 for correction. The written examination will be held from 30 October 2025.
2. Recruitment in Haryana Women and Child Development
The Department of Women and Child Development (WCD) of Haryana has started the application process for recruitment to various posts for schemes like Mission Vatsalya, Mission Shakti, Child Helpline, Women Helpline. Candidates will have to apply offline for this recruitment. This recruitment will be done on contract basis.

1. UP PGT Exam again postponed
Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission i.e. UPSESSB has once again postponed the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) 2025 examination.
The board has not told in the notice when the examination will be held.
This exam was to be held on 15, 16 October. The application process for UP TGT and PGT recruitment started on 9 June 2022 and applications were made by 9 July 2022.
The first examinations were to be held on 18 and 19 June 2025 which was postponed. Now the new date information will be released on the official website upssc.up.gov.in.
Please tell that on 26 September, Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission Chairman Kirti Pandey resigned from the post. This commission was set up in 2023.
2. Security to professors at Haryana University Dispute on putting on
The duty of professors has been imposed as a security guard of professors at Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU) of Rohtak, Haryana. After this, the dispute has arisen.
The Proctor has issued a letter by the MDU administration, keeping in mind the safety of the girl students inside the university campus, instructions have been given to impose projectorial duty of professors and non -teaching staff.
MDU’s Teachers’ Organization Maduta said that the teachers are being harassed. On the other hand, the proctor argued that duty has been imposed from 26 September to 10 October under the university rules. A few days ago, the students gave a memorandum to VC that we are feeling uncomfortable due to lack of security.
