1. Divya Deshmukh won the Chess Women’s World Cup
19 -year -old Divya Deshmukh has won Chase’s FIDE Women’s World Cup 2025.
Divya (left) won the title by defeating Koneru Hampi (right) of India in the final in the final.
- Divya also became the 88th Grandmaster of India with becoming a world champion.
- In the final against Hampi, Divya played both major matches.
- Then, on Monday, there was a tiebreak round, in which Divya won the match with a score of 2.5–1.5.
- Along with this, she became the most young female world champion.
2. UPI’s new rules will be implemented from August 1
Since August 1, 2025, new rules of Unified Payment Interface ie UPI are being implemented.
The new UPI rules will apply to all users using UPI apps like PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm.
- Under this, users will not be able to check the balance through the UPI app more than 50 times a day.
- Auto-pays will no longer be at any time of the day, but in the fixed time slots.
- If a payment is stuck, then its status can be checked only 3 times, that too with a 90 second gap every time.
- The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has introduced it to make the payment system fast, safe and reliable.
2. England won UEFA Women’s Euro Football Championship 2025
On 27 July, Defending Champion England won the UEFA Women’s Euro Football Championship 2025.
In the final match of the UEFA Women’s Euro Football Championship, England beat Spain 3–1 in a penalty shootout.
- England won the title for the second consecutive time.
- The final match was held at St. Jacob-Park in Basel, Switzerland.
- Kalo Kelly scored a decisive goal in the match.
- England goalkeeper Hanah Hampton was adjudged Player of the Tournament.
- At the same time, Spain player Etana Bonamati was selected as the Player of the Tournament.

1. Recruitment of 3,500 posts of Nursing Officer in AIIMS, Delhi
The recruitment of 3,500 posts of Nursing Officer has been recruited at All India Institute of Medical Sciences i.e. AIIMS, Delhi. Candidates can fill the form by visiting AIIMS official website aiimsexams.ac.in through online.
The Norcet 9 Prelims Exam will be held on 14 September by AIIMS. At the same time, the men’s exam will be held on 27 September 2025. Under this recruitment, 80% seats have been reserved for women and 20% for men.
Educational qualification:
- It is mandatory for the candidate to pass B.Sc (Honors) Nursing or BSC Nursing from a recognized university/ institute.
- Apart from this, candidates are required to be registered as nurses and midwives from the Indian or state nursing council.
- The candidate has worked for 2 years in a 50 -bed hospital.
Edge Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Candidates coming from reserved category will be given exemption at the upper age as per rules.
Fees:
- General, OBC: 3000 rupees
- SC, ST, EWS: Rs 2400
- PWD: Free
Salary:
- Candidates will be given a salary of Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800 with grade pay 4,600 every month.
2. Recruitment to 90 posts of Apprentice in DRDO
Defense Research and Development Organization i.e. DRDO has issued a notification for recruitment of 90 posts of Apprentice. The advertisement for this recruitment has been published in the July 26 employment news. Candidates will have to apply offline. This apprenticeship will be for one year.
Educational qualification:
- ITI degree of two years recognized by NCVT
- 2022, 2023, pass out candidates can apply from 2024 batch.
Edge Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 27 years
- OBC: Maximum 30 years
- SC, ST: 32 years
- Reserve category candidates will be given age relaxation as per the rules.
Sterpend:
- 7700- 8050 rupees per month

1. CAT 2025 notification released
The notification of Common Admission Test i.e. CAT 2025 has been released. Candidates can apply for this from August 1 to do MBA from IIM and other major business schools in India.
