1. 10th Test of the world’s most powerful rocket success
On August 27, the 10th Test of the world’s most powerful rocket Starlink was successful. American industrialist Ellon Musk’s company SpaceX launched the test from Boka Chika in Texas at 5:00 am, which lasted about 1 hour 6 minutes.

2. Samara won gold at Asian Shooting Championship
On August 26, Olympian shooter SIFT Kaur Samara won gold at the Asian Shooting Championship. Samara won the title at the 16th Asian Shooting Championship held at Shimkant, Kazakhstan.
This Samra woman is the first gold medal in the 50m rifle 3 positions. Apart from this individual medal, Samra also gave India gold in the women’s 3P team event with Ashi Chowkse and Anjum Modgil.
SIFT won the gold medal in the Rifle 3 position by scoring 459.2 in the final.

UPSC has released the NDA and NA (2) 2025 exam schedule. This exam will be held on Sunday, 14 September in two shifts.
