2. National Sports Governance Bill, 2025 presented in Lok Sabha
The National Sports Governance Bill, 2025 was introduced in the Lok Sabha on 23 July 2025.
Union Youth Program and Sports Minister Mansukh Mandavia introduced the National Sports Governance Bill, 2025.
- This bill has been introduced to ensure transparency, accountability, and better administration in Indian sports.
- Under this, a National Sports Board will be established, which will have powers to make and monitor rules for the National Sports Federations (NSFs).
- The Cricket Control Board of India (BCCI) will also come under this purview.
- The board will have the chairman and members, who will be appointed by the Central Government.
- These members will be experts in public administration, sports law and related sectors.

2. A short recruitment notice issued for recruitment to 230 posts in EPFO
Union Public Service Commission ie UPSC has issued a short recruitment notice for recruitment to 230 posts in EPFO. The application for this recruitment is starting from 29 July 2025.
After that, candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in. The detail notification of this recruitment will be released on July 26, 2025.
Under this recruitment, 156 posts of Enforcement Officer, Account Office and 74 posts of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner will be filled.
