Recruitment Syllabus
Employees Selection Board (ESB) has issued an official notification of direct recruitment of 7,500 constables in the Police Department. The application process will start from 15 September 2025.

The last date for applying for the candidates is kept on 29 September 2025, while the amendment facility will be available till 4 October 2025.
The recruitment examination will be conducted from 30 October 2025. Candidates can apply through ESB’s official website eSb.mp.gov.in.
Examination fee
- For general class/unreserved candidates: 500 rupees
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS: Rs 250
- Native of Madhya Pradesh Divyangjan: 200 rupees
- For departmental examination (SC/ST/OBC/EWS): Rs 100.
Exams will start from October 30 From 30 October 2025, 11 potential cities of the state will be done in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Khandwa, Neemuch, Rewa, Ratlam, Sagar, Satna, Sidhi and Ujjain.
Examination will be held in two shifts The examination will be in two shifts. The first shift will start from 7:30 am. During this period, there is reporting time till 8:30 pm. After this, time will be given to read the instructions from 9:20 to 9:30 pm. Then the exam will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 pm. At the same time, the second shift will start from 12:30 pm. During this period, there is reporting time till 1:30 pm. After this, you will get time to read the instructions from 2:20 to 2:30 pm. Then the exam will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.
Selection process In the selection process, there will be a physical efficiency test and document verification of the written examination. The level of examination will be based on high school qualification. The selected candidates will be appointed to the post of constable in the Police Department.
Salary: You will get 19500-62000 rupees per month.
Recruitment was to be held in March, it was postponed by September The process of taking applications for the Police Constable Recruitment Exam was to start in March, but in this case the condition of living registration of employment was attached. On this, some applicants filed a petition in the MP High Court. After this, the High Court decided to remove the living registration and directed the government to recruit.
After this, the government appealed to the Supreme Court but the Supreme Court also upheld the High Court’s decision. After this, the recruitment branch of Police Headquarters sent a proposal to the government this month. On which the government allowed recruitment and now the advertisement has been released.
