Ajay Kumar, chairman of the UPSC i.e. Union Public Service Commission, is interacting with the Civil Service Aspirant across the country for the first time through Virtual Town Hall. According to the information given on Friday, it will be broadcast on the YouTube channel of DD News from 12 noon today.
In the Linkdin Post, Ajay Kumar said, ‘For the first time I am excited about organizing UPSC Town Hall. Aspires across the country can connect with me directly from 12 to 1 pm on the YouTube channel of DD News on 1 October.

During this time, aspirants can ask questions through social media platforms like X, Facebook and Instagram. These questions can be asked between 12 and 1 in the afternoon and will have to post your questions with #AskchairmanupSc.
Questions were sought through mail
Questions were sought from Aspirant from 28 to 30 September. Interactwithupsc@gmail.com could submit their questions in video or text form.
Ajay Kumar said, “This is a different and unique opportunity for UPSC and PSC Aspirants where he will be able to understand the chairman’s ideas and exam process well.”
UPSC will complete 100 years next year
The Union Public Service Commission conducts a variety of exams for the recruitment of officers in the Indian government. It also includes the Civil Service Examination for IAS, IPS, IFS.
It was established on 1 October 1926 under the Government of India Act 1919, based on the suggestions of the Lee Commission. Earlier it was called Public Service Commission.
In 1937, it was named Federal Public Service Commission. When the Indian Constitution was adopted on 26 January 1950, it was named Union Public Service Commission.

Its celebrations are starting from 1 October 2025 in the joy of completing 100 years of UPSC, which will run till one year i.e. October 1, 2026.
